Oka Sushi is hands down the best sushi spot in the West Island! The service is always warm and welcoming, and the sushi is absolutely incredible. The chef prepared everything perfectly based on my taste preferences — every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. I keep coming back here because the quality is always top-notch, the ingredients are super fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. Truly a gem. Highly recommended!
One of my favourite sushi destinations in the west island this family owned restaurant has the best customer service, sushi and pricing in the west. Safe for the the super loud fridge that houses the drinks the place is perfect! We always feel welcome and really appreciate the friendliness of the staff. There's also a loyalty card which we religiously carry with us every time and get stamped for some occasional free sushi!
Oko sushi is a great place for sushi in the west island area. There is the competing Sama sushi across the street, but I think Oko sushi is more consistent than them. They also have a little loyalty program going on, so if you go often it's actually worth it. The sushi itself is very tasty and reasonably priced. The only thing I wish was different was the way you order. Otherwise, a great sushi place!
If you want delicious sushi that is fresh, authentic and well made, this is the place for you. A very small place with a few tables (once dining is allowed again). Really clear floor markings, etc with COVID. Hand sanitizer is at the ready to your left when you walk in. The service is always friendly and excellent and the food is always amazing. Enjoy and support this small business!
Honestly very pleasantly surprised by this place. I always hesitated just because of the outside look of the strip mall but the sushi was delicious and fresh. Really has a family vibe inside and everyone was super nice when I picked it up. Will gladly go again.
